Photoshop 2024 screen freeze problem

1. The newest 25.5 photoshop

2.Windows 10 professional 22H2

3. When I open Photoshop, all the buttons and tabs are clickable. However, once I open or create a new file, everything becomes unclickable after a few seconds and then the screen freezes. This bug just happens on today, I was trying to copy a illustrator Vector filer into ps and the ps screen freezed, and then I force closed ps application, and tried to do it again. However, the problem still exists.  I have updated both the graphics card driver and the Photoshop version to the latest, also reinstall photoshop, but this problem still persists. Even if I switch from using Photoshop 2024 to using Photoshop Beta, the same issue occurs.

@SHI98A4 long shot but do you have any font management software/plugins installed?

We had a similar issue here and the Font Manager (Extensis) had a window pop up hidden that said the plugin was not working. It "froze" PS at random times until we resolved.

Did you find a solution to the "Oniric" problem that made it work?

@SHI98A4 try manually resetting your Photoshop preferences

Remember to backup your settings before doing the preference reset
