Photoshop 2025 Brush Lag

Hi, I just updated my photoshop to 2025 and have noticed a considerable brush lag since the update. Normally I go to settings>preferences>deactivate native canvas rulers, but I don't see that option in 2025. Any advice on how to improve the brush lag?

I am not sure that I have the same problem with you but you can consider trying uninstalling the wacom tablet driver.
mac os tahoe , photoshop v27.4 mac mini m4

Solution - updating PS reset the settings and turned on brush smoothing again.. turning this off (in brush settings) fixes the problem

This did not work for me. I did not have any issues until recently. It was working fine in April 2025, but I did not use it for a few months and in September (now) the brush is lagging no matter what I do.

Same here.. brush size 100px, 95% hardness, 1% spacing (although 25% spacing didn't make a difference).. it's been over a month since OP's original post.. no word from adobe?
