Question

Photoshop 22.3.1 huge bug! CTRL + J with an active selection copies all the entire layer!

Hi, just updated to v.22.3.1 on Windows 10 pro.

Making a selection of a layer's part (not an emptied one but a raster image), the ctrl+j command makes a copy of all entire the layer instead of the selected part! Even by the menu command, things don't change.

This is a really huge bug!!

Hi there, I uninstalled and re-installed again and now works as expected. I really don't what happened with the auto update. Anyway it looks like slower than the previous versions...

Seems to work fine here (22.3.1 on MacOS 10.15.7).

What have you done for all-purpose trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

Edit: Sorry, my mistake, I cannot reproduce the issue after all.

Still if you can post a Bug Report.
