Dear Community, I have been trying to find a solution but unfortunately couldn't. When trying to use the healing brush tool in a layer, it just doesn't work. There is a plus sign hovering next to it. When using that same tool in my background (first original layer) it seems to work as it feels like - sometimes yes, other times not. Help, please!

@Johan_Elzenga

Hello Johan, I added a normal layer - sampled is chosen at the top and not pattern. I choose my healing spot and nothing happens - when I try a + sign emerges. Thank you!

What kind of layer is it? And what setting do you use in the toolbar? The healing brush won’t work in every kind of layer, and there must be something to heal in the selected layer, depending on the settings (is Sample All Layers checked?)
