Photoshop 24.1.0 crash using masks in Camera Raw

Since Photoshop was updated to version 24.1.0, using masks in Camera Raw makes the application crash. This is on Windows 10 v22H2.

 

Event viewer provides the following info:

I rolled back to 24.0.1 and no more crashes...

PS was crashing for me after using the masks in ACR.  Resetting ACR preferences fixed it for me.  I don't know what got jumbled.

Review your system's specs and compare them to the minimum requirements document

Masking requires more GPU memory etc. If that's not the case, try resetting the preferences:

Try resetting the Camera Raw preferences:
Hold down the Command key and select Photoshop > Preferences > Camera Raw (macOS) or hold down the Ctrl key and select Edit > Preferences > Camera Raw (Windows).
Click Yes in the dialog that asks "Delete the Camera Raw Preferences?"
