Photoshop 3D text - making the 3D edited text into a sphere

Hi,

I have used PS for a while but brand new to the 3D space.

I have managed to edit text into how I would like it to look, added my photo textures etc but would like to change that text into the shape of a sphere (NOT put it on a sphere).

I have tried warping it with but does not wrap nicely. I have spent hours searching for tutorial vidoes and not come up with any and just tried several things but I can't make it uniform as a sphere shape. Any advice?
Thanks

Not really possible with PS, at least after the fact. Such stuff would require proper deformers as they are common in 3D programs. At best you could create the illusion by converting your text to paths and shaping those before the extrude, but my honest opinion I've had for years is that if you're serious about 3D, there's no point wasting your time in PS. That can be better spend learning a genuine 3D program, even a free tool like Blender.
