Hello,
I purchased Adobe Photoshop 7 years ago but only have it on CD. My new computer doesn't have a CD port. Is it possible to get a downloadable link?
Thanks

Hi
Even if you could get Photoshop 7 as a download I doubt you'll be able to get it to run on a modern operating system, you could of course purchase a portable usb dvd drive

Thanks Ged. I'm leaning towards this option.

Photoshop 7 was released in 2002 when I was retiring 16 years ago. Before Photoshop Scripting and Adobe Camera Raw. These became optional plug-ins added after PS7 was released a free Plug-in for Photoshop scripting for PS 7 and paid Plug-in the first Adobe Camera RAW. PS7 is really outdated and does not have 64Bit support so will not be able to take advantage of all your current hardware. It time to get some newer images editor. You may bas able to download it fron Adobe FTP site but what is ther may only be the PS7 updates. not PS7 itself for there was no activation back then.

Thanks JJ,
I had purchased this new when I opened my business and just like all my equipment, technology has surpassed and outdated all my stuff. I was just hoping to save a little money. Looks like everything now is by monthly subscription. Do you have a preference for the new apps?

I just use Photoshop and sometime the bridge. Each new version of Photoshop seems to have more and more issues. I currently have CS6, CC 2014, CC 2018 and CC 2019 installed. CS6 and CC 2014 are very stable. I removed CC 2015, CC 2015.5 and CC 2017 for. CC 2018 is better than the versions I removed. CC 2019 still has many issues. With a subscription you can load all the creative cloud version of Photoshop. IMO you should always have at least one old version installed to fall back on. The Photography plan is a bargain if you have a real need for Photoshop.

You could try the trial of Photoshop Elements, which is a perpetual license if you purchase it.

I have also got a brand new computer.. always have kept up with the new photoshop and lightroom.. However,, After 7 photoshop quit doing picture package.. I use it several times a day so now with my new computer that doesn't have a dvd drive I'm going to have to buy one to put PS7 into my computer again. I only use it for printing passports but I have never found a work around that will work for me... any thoughts? Sometimes I print 4 individuals,, 2 wallets each so need to be able to print multiple faces on a 8x10 sheet

Tracy,
Have you tried the Picture Package in Lightroom Classic?
