Photoshop adding gray to layers

Question

I was working on a file and all of a sudden all of these gray spots appeared on layers that do no have gray. It's hard to describe but below is a screenshot of an export less than one hour before the issue. Note the color of the car (no gray appearing)

I'm not sure what the issue is and I can't even come close to googling it. If someone could please help me resolve it I'd greatly appreciate it.

I suspect that you may have accidentally turned on the Gamut Warning. This feature identifies colours that you may have issues printing and does this by showing them temporarily in grey. This feature can easily be toggled on/off...

Menu: View > Gamut Warning
Keyboard shortcut: Command/Control + Shift + Y

If this is your issue I'm guessing you accidentally activated the option.

My previous post didn't include the back half of it.

Here is what the file looked like an hour later. The car and other layers had gray added to them. Again I'm not sure what the issue is but If I open a new file and bring the pieces with gray into them the gray does not show up. It's only in this file that the issue is occurring.
