Photoshop artboard not loading

Hi, I have Photoshop 2021 installed on a VDI. When I try to open a new PS file or open an existing PS file, the screen which should display the file doesnt. Instead it just shows the welcome text when you first load photoshop. There is nothing I can select on the window, just have to close the application.

Strangely, Illustrator opens docs fine. Issue is just with Photoshop.

Grateful for any ideas.

Try disabling "Use Graphics Processor" under Preferences > Performance and restart Photoshop.
