PHOTOSHOP AUTOSAVE NOT WORKING. PLEASE HELP !

I'm trying to save photoshop autosave in a custom folder on my computer but its not working. I tried the file handling and everyting in two computers, on a mac and windows. Still no autosaves. Please help.

That's right. I think you misunderstand its function. It's auto-recovery after a crash. It's not auto-save under normal operation. As Jane says, there will normally not be anything in the autorecovery folder.

 

You still have to do the saving yourself.

    You won't find any files in the Autosave folder.

    • If Photoshop crashes, the recovery file will come up automatically on next launch.
    • If Photoshop closes normally, the contents of the recovery folder is deleted.
