I have a sequence of images and would like to increase the contrast in all of them.

Any idea ?

As already stated you must record Photoshop action which will run during batch process. The question is whether you want to increase contrast uniformly or per image? You have Image > Auto Contrast command which should work per image basis. Otherwise use Brightness/Contrast or Curves adjustments from Image menu or from Layer > New Adjustment Layer > B/C or Curves.

What do you mean by "record an action" and then "play an action".

For example: action file contain instruction to go in menu File and to evoke Open command which is second option in that menu. When you play action Photoshop will open Open dialogue and wait for you to select image which you want to open.
