So using Photoshop recently i've noticed after I start using the program for five minutes the whole program becomes unresponsive. I am able to "Switch Tools" but i am unable to actually use them.... almost like the whole canvas is just locked. I cannot move around it, and it stays frozen in one area. The only thing I can do ironically is save. Once I close the window, and reopen it IO can work back into it for another five minutes and the cycle repeats. After using this program for 10 plus years I cannot pinpoint what is actually wrong with this.
Any ideas of what I can do?
I use Photoshop professionally and this is a HUGE set back for me.

How much free HD memory do you have?
How much available RAM?
Did you turn off non-essential background processes like energy saving sleep mode, real-time backups and anti-virus scans?
