The Photoshop interface is not smooth and Unresponsive every time I use it to select subject and mask.

Why [inappropriate language removed by moderator] I am paying so much and still getting nothing except app crashes on my MacBook Air M1.

Please resolve this as quick as possible.

Hi,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. It would be helpful if you could go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System info & copy & paste the information here.

You can try adding Photoshop to the Accessibility list on macOS & Full disk access using the steps suggested here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/quick-tips-learn-how-to-give-full-dis...

If the issue persists, you can try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps mentioned here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset_preferences

Please backup your settings prior to resetting the preferences. You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#BackupPhotoshoppreferences

Let us know how it goes!

Regards,

Nikunj

After you've Select > Subject are you applying a Layer Mask? (Describe what happens when you do).
