I have just uninstalled PSCC 24.6 after trying out the generative fill tool. After removal I can no longer use the Edit In Photoshop option in Lightroom CC as it is grayed out. Inspecting the Preferences section in LRCC I can see that Photoshop is no longer an option for external editing. I have updated my main Photoshop version to 24.5. Hopefully someone can advise. Thanks, Martin

When the 'link' between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop has issues, one of the first things to try is this:
1. Use the Adobe Creative Cloud application to uninstall both Photoshop and Lightroom Classic and when asked, keep preferences.
2. Install Photoshop first, then Lightroom Classic. The order of the product installed is what is very important here.
Better?

Thanks for your reply. Will this method return my Lightroom and Photoshop installations to their current positions. I have plugins and presets in abundance in both applications and don't want to have to reinstall everything.

If you keep preferences, all should be fine.

Back to normal thankfully. Thank you for helping me out - it is really appreciated. No more Beta for me; I will wait until new version is released.
