Photoshop beta crashes after using generative fill

When i use generative fill feature and do anything with it, it works initially but as soon as am done with the generative fill option and do anything else like merging layers or selecting any tool from tool presets etc, photoshop crashes and closes after freezing for 2-3 seconds.

there has been similar post on forum under bugs section. Can someone look into this? I can share the logs if needed in case it helps.

the event viewer on windows just shows photoshop.exe module being failing and crashing.

windows 10 home edition

16 gb ram, q tb hdd + 250 gb ssd.
