Photoshop cannot open video files MOV + MP4

Question

as title says, if I take the files into Wondershare Uniconverter and convert the files from MP4 to MP4 it will open them.

But here is the thing photoshop used to open all my video files up until recently, did adobe screw something up?

Which version of Photoshop are you using? Do you see any error messages?

So, from what I understand, the MOV files are not playing in Photoshop, but when you convert them to MP4, they are playing.
