The actual culprit for me turned out to be my backup program, REBIT. It was incompatible. Once I uninstalled that, the problems went away.

So since the last update of Photoshop CC 2014 I have received this OgreMain.dll Error.

When I launch Photoshop this is what I get.

Adobe Photoshop CC 2014: Photoshop.exe - System Error

"This program can't start because OgreMain.dll is missing from your computer. Try re installing the program to fix this problem."

I then click ok to get rid of the error box and another error box Titled Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 says "Could not complete your request because of a program error."

I hit ok to get rid of that as well. Then Photoshop just starts up and everything works normally. But the error always comes up every time I launch Photoshop.

I have searched the web through and through and can't find ANYTHING on this issue.

I have re installed Photoshop through CCloud and still get the same error.

I also have re installed OgreMain.dll but same thing.

I took some screenshots but could not upload it here for whatever reason "picture format not supported" even tho itsa small jpg but w.e.

Is anyone else experiencing this or have any clues to why this is happening.

Your Ogre3D program appears to have a misinstalled plugin in Photoshop.

Ogre Forums • View topic - OgreMain.dll was not found.

Also, Photoshop CC 2014 hasn't had an update since December.

After untold problems with Photoshop, Bridge and LR crashing, decided to simply uninstall, then reinstall. LR reinstalled fine, but PS 2014cc gave me this message: Update failed, Download appears corrupted. Error: U43M1D204. Bridge seems to be affected by it, as PS appears to work fine. The "get Help" button does nothing, at least not after 20 seconds or so.

    Hi all,

I also had this same problem running Windows 7 x64. I realized I had recently turned on "Use Graphics Processor" in PS settings, so when I turned it off everything worked fine again. Though it did take a couple of tried to turn off without it crashing half way through.

    Hope that helps!

Again, that indicates that the problem is a bug in your video card driver.

You really need to update the video card driver from the GPU maker's website to pick up all the latest bug fixes.

had a problem adding a new blank sheet to PS cc 2014 and it craches,

the only solution that fixed this problem is adjusting the scale value of the screen display

    and that fixed it .

We wouldn't know why Premiere is crashing, either.

You need to create a topic and post the crash reports in the Premiere Pro forums.

And as you can see in the report, your Intel video card driver is crashing.

Update your video card driver from Intel's website.

I'd been having this issue too, compounded by the fact that windows 8 is totally new to me (and for some reason I can't upgrade to 8.1). I have both the Intel and Nvidia cards enabled, and so went to look at the Nvidia control panel. In there I noticed that photoshop was set to use the nvidia card by default. Once I switched this to auto: integrated, all was well. And I was able to switch between my laptop screen and desktop monitor without a hitch. And no crashes from Photoshop.

Regarding Windows 8.1, which would be good to update to, if you can figure out a way to, run the Windows Upgrade Assistant to tell you what might be preventing the upgrade. I found that an old scanner program wasn’t compatible with Windows 8.1 and had to uninstall it: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/upgrade-to-windows-8

See item three “Can my PC run Windows 8.1”.

I tried running that upgrade advisor and it wouldn't run It said it was incompatible with the version of windows 8?
