Photoshop CC 2015 crashes when using quick selection tool

this just happened recently and i haven't changed anything in my settings .. but every time i try to use the tool, it crashes, and it really sucks.

is there anything i can do?

using win10 64bit.

    Hi

    Have you tried resetting Photoshop preferences

    Also try updating Photoshop to the most recent version CC 2018 19.1.5

    In Photoshop go to Help > System Info and copy and paste that into this thread
