Photoshop CC 2015 Fails to check license

I have an active photshop subscription. 

I have photoshop 2022 installed and working fine and due to some plugins no been compatible with newer versions I still use Photoshop CC 2015 for a specific job.

Both version worked fine until my last renewal, now photshop CC 2015 says I have no license and does not start.

I contacted to adobe support but they don't give a s** about user and told me they only give support up 2 versions older. Told them my problem was with license not with the program itself but no help at all from them.

 

Anyone has happened the same? Any ideas how to overcome this? I'm a paying subscrptor with an active subscription and can use an older version just because they shutted it down.

    What are the specific plugins? There may be newer options available by other means.

      I use two old plugins (developer company has closed) that fails to install in newer PS versions. I need them to update old PSD or make new ones keeping the same output.

      I'm no designer so my skills are basic and rely on the plugins that I've used for the last 8 years..

        Back to the source of the issue - why do you need CC2015? Current PS will allow you to save compatible file formats.

          Hi Kevin, thanks for replying, your link will help me more than Adobe support..

          The problem is that license validator does not allow me to start it anymore saying my subscription has expired.

          Adobe don't sell the product so I can't buy it, they sell the subscription that's what I have.

          The only solution will  be to mount a VM with no internet to install it for the trial period when needed I guess, but why do I have to do that if I'm a photoshop paying subscriptor? Tha's what makes so mad..

            Unfortunately support for CC2015 ended a long time ago and as you found out the corporate policy is to only support current and 1+ back.

            You can go to https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2015-direct-download-links.html and read the section on installing/activating. That may give some help with activation.
