Photoshop CC 2017 - 3D not working

Hi,

the problem is I have the 3D option available but when I'm trying to create new 3D Object by hitting the 'Create' button I get the error message saying I have to turn Graphic Acceleration in options - but its on.

I have 2 Video cards, both nVidia (GTX 680 and GTX 1080) so after I've found an info that Adobe Photoshop does not support multi GPU I've tried to switch them off in nVidia setting for the application (force to use first and then second) but that didn't help.

Tried to turn the graphic acceleration of, resetting Photoshop, turning it on again with different settings, Basic, Normal, Advanced. Still have this error message when I try to Create some 3D shapes.

All other functions work, I have no glitches, no crashes, Oil Paint works.. help ?

latest Windows 10, latest CC, latest drivers

thanks, S.

I'm having the same trouble -- especially after the latest round of updates. My video driver is completely up to date but Adobe informs me that it's not the latest driver or that it doesn't support the acceleration.

Dear Adobe, you need to change to suit us; not the other way around. You caused the problem because I was quite capable of doing 3D graphics BEFORE your latest update. Roll it back.

Was a solution found for this problem?  I was using 3D graphics before my latest update but now they are greyed out.  I followed all the steps in the recommended help but it's still not functioning.

    Hi Tomgri

A few basic steps for troubleshooting the 3D graphics.

    1. Check your document is in RGB mode - 3D is not available in other image modes

    2. Check you have "Use graphics processor" checked in Preferences Performance

    3. Go to Help >System Info - click "Copy" and paste the info here. It may help us see why 3D is greyed out.

    Hi Akash,

thanks for replying . I've checked all the steps and that's no help for me. It doesn't crush at all, works fine like I've wrote before, nothing is grayed out, 3D window has all the buttons but when I try to create an object it says there is no Graphic Acceleration.

    best,

    S.
