Photoshop CC 2019 20.0.3 update y

Participant ,

I just installed the 20.0.3 update on my Mac Pro running latest Mojave update. Didn’t take the time to read the update notes. But as far as I can tell, it did nothing for the problems with Liquify. Not sure what other issues it was supposed to address.

My MacBook Pro is still running High Sierra and shows no updates notices.

Has anyone else installed the 20.0.3 update and did it fix any problems you were/are having???

Not even on the Mac side. I always update via the Creative Cloud app. Can you copy/paste your Help > System Info into your reply?

Ok...I'm not dreaming. It showed up as an update but I haven't found any information about it's release ANYWHERE.

Weird. Check this thread: Latest version 20.0.2 or 20.0.3 | Photoshop Family Customer Community

I've been checking updates on both my HS and Mojave laptops. Nothing.

Something STRANGE is going on for sure. I had LR CC Classic 8.2. CC told me I had an INSTALL for Lightroom CC Classic and Photoshop CC 2019. NOT an update. I installed the LR CC Classic and now my LR is 8.1. Not sure what will happen if I install the Photoshop. Guess it doesn't matter since it did not fix the current issues.

I’m in the middle of restoring my machine right now. I clicked the install in the CC library and it installed 20.0.2. Only problem is it wipe out all my actions, presets, workspaces, and plug-ins. Looked in the Photoshop 2019 folder under Applications and all my plug-ins are there and probably other settings. Just not showing up in Photoshop. Don’t feel like going on an exploration to find stuff. Thank God for back ups!

Alas not enough people realize how important they are

I create an image of my C drive on a weekly basis, if something goes belly up with my system I'll be back up and running in 10 mins

I don’t think i mentioned it, if i did i’m sorry. It’s late here in Hawaii. When I let it revert back to 20.0.2, the artifacts from liquify were gone!

I have automatic updates turned on for CC apps.  When I got in this morning I had a macOS notice that two apps had been updated. I check the CC app from the Finder's Menu bar and it showed that Photoshop could be installed.  (Not update, but INSTALL.  As if I had never installed it before.)  I thought this was strange so I checked my Applications folder and Photoshop was there.  I did a macOS Get Info on the app and saw that Photoshop was at version 20.0.3, it was modified at 4:45 pm Central Time on February 7th.

Being curious, I went ahead and installed the version of Photoshop that the CC app was prompting me to do.  After it finished, Photoshop was now at version 20.0.2.  I launched Photoshop and it started up as if it was a brand new install and had never run on my Mac before.

Luckily, I have Time Machine backups so I just replaced what was modified (Photoshop, Camera Raw, and their related files) in the appropriate folders on my Mac.

I rebooted my computer and I'm now have Photoshop 20.0.3.  Everything seems to be running just fine.

According to Adobe, the most current version is still v. 20.0.2. So not sure where that other version came from unless someone accidentally hit publish on a new update before it was ready, and now they have stopped that from rolling out any more, but some people with auto install still got it.

Got that plus LR Classic and ACR updates this morning on Windows 10. Nothing showing on the Win 7 computer. I'll have to check my Macs later.

Nope! NOTHING!! This has been at least 6 MONTHS now. I am actually on phone with adobe right now...or waiting to talk. On hold for 17 min. now. It's like I am back 15 years with them. It'd be nice for them to do SOMETHING!
