Hi,

I'm coming here because I don't know what to do anymore. Before when I used to use the Line tool (U), I could do plenty of line fast and easily without the annoying blue line around it disturbing me when I work and create a shape layeyer afther that (which never happened to me before).

But here's a pic to show you what I mean:

GRRRRRRRR.PNG
Does anyone know how to fix that? I reset all my settings, closed and opened again PS, reset the tool line, reset my workspace, search on google... Thanks in advance if someone can help me clear that out

That appears to be a Path, not a Shape.

Change to Shape from the drop-menu on top.  See screenshot.

Thanks for replying!! I already tried that though and it doesn't change anything 😞

Also, I forgot to mention, but I tried Ctrl + h too to hide the blue outline, but doing it repeatdly gets annoying when you work frequently with it...

Go to Window > History.  Revert to a previous state.

Select the Shape tool first and then draw your line.

You should be good to go.

Hi, thank you again, but that didn't help either sorry...

I remember my teacher showing us on photoshop how to make a grid through action via history/actions (you kind of record what you do and photoshop remembers what you did?) and my line tool is like that since then. I tried to revert and delete those actions, it didn't work so I reset all of my tools possible but nothing works.
