Photoshop CC Mac cursor bug

This is a long standing bug in Photoshop CC.

When Photoshop CC is running on a Mac, and files are open, Photoshop CC will continually change the mouse cursor to an arror cursor even when Photoshop is not the foreground app. In fact, this will happen even if Photoshop is on a separate screen/workspace. As long as Photoshop is running and at least one file is open, no matter what app you have in the foreground, no matter what you are doing in any other app, the mouse cursor will continually change inappropriately to the default arrow. Even if the foreground app changes the cursor, Photoshop changes it back.

Please, please, please, if Photoshop is not the foreground app, do not keep changing the cursor!

Same here, had this forever.
Highly annoying since I work in web design and not being able to test cursors when PS is open is frustrating.

Dear Adobe, for the love of god... can we get this fixed.

Still there, despite the last update.

Trying to work, creating precise selection while having the standard black arrow pointer is fairly annoying.

PLEASE.

This is still happening to me as well.  Anytime PS is open, after a period of time, the cursor in apps like a web browser, don't turn to the hand when hovering over links.

What I have found can helps sometimes, is hiding PS  (CMD + CONTROL + H).

With PS hidden, the cursors seem to work as expected (most of the time).  Doesn't always work sadly.

This is also happening to me - I've had different macbook pro laptops and it's happened on all of them. First noticed it in 2022 and not late 2024, it's still a thing and it's so frustrating.

Try hiding PS when not using.  That has helped a little for me.

Although another annoying bug is that sometimes the Hide function in PS is not even available.

Ah bummer.  Most of the time it does work for me, but occansionally I'll still have to close PS to get the cursor back.

Sadly, that doesn't work for me. The bug still persists, two years after I first posted here about it.

For me this did nothing.  I have completely uninstalled the entire CS and reinstalled.

I have also upgraded to the latest which essentially installs the new version and removes the old.

Still happens.
