Hi all,
I wonder if anyone can help with my problem. As of the new update I installed on Tuesday 31/07/2018 I have been having issues with what I see on the work space compared to the saved output. I have put an example of a old file I've opened into photoshop CC 2018 below. The picture in the export window is exactly as I edited it. Now the file in the working space is Very dark. I didn't notice this at first untill I was editing a photo and when I was happy with it I went to save it and saw that the export was very bright / light and washed out. After playing around with the workspace image I realised I can correct the output by darkening the image till it was almost black on screen. This resulted in the correct export save.
I have checked my colour profiles and they haven't changed at all. As I said in the above I went and open a old file which I use a template and it opened dark. I have Uninstalled all Adobe products and fresh installed which also hasn't solved the problem. Has anyone else encountered this and have you found a fix for it?
Thank you
Amy

Hi Amy,
As you're seeing a difference in color, could you please check "embed color profile" in the Export dialog. With this checked, you see the color managed image. and when unchecked, it displays without color management.

Hi Sahil,
Its not the export / saving thats the problem. thats fine. Its the actual work space that is having the issue being dark not the files being saved.
as I showed in the picture I opened an old psd file to see if the colour management was the problem. It opens dark but exports fine.
Thank you
Amy
