Photoshop Copy/Paste between files, text is not showing up

Hi there! I've been alternating between two files (File A & File B) as they have the same content but File B requires me to only use one 16x9 image with a logo on top.

My usual pathway is that I would copy the artboard from File A and then paste the artboard onto File B, and then the logo.

I have no problems until yesterday, when I would paste the artboard from File A into File B, ONLY the text wouldn't show up. It is there but it's invisible.

When I highlight the text, it's there but during my export, it cannot be seen.

When I click on the type to move them, the transform box is very far away but the text is in within the artboard.

Quick fix: select the type layer in the Layers panel, then press Ctrl + T to enter free transform mode. Click and drag to reposition the text, or use the Y and X fields in the options bar for that task. Start by typing 0 in both boxes, for example.

The text in my other files now also have this issue where when I transform them (I just wanted to move some text around), the transform box is NEXT to my text..I'm feeling lost.

Ensure the correct layer is selected and verify that no path is selected or active in the Window > Paths panel.
