Photoshop crash on launch without errors

New Here ,

I recently had issues with photoshop crashing as soon as the loading screen was done. It showed no errors at all. I reached out to support twice and eventually after installing a much older (2023) version which did actually show an error we found it it was ICC profile issues.

Note: This also caused issues in Lightroom where none of the thumbnails would be visible.

I fixed this setting the ICC colour management in Windows settings to Automatic and then restarting the graphics drivers (Win + Ctrl + Shift + B)

Then everything worked. So if you have this issue try this!

The one thing is that I would appreciate from Adobe is to investigate why that error message did not show up on the latest Photoshop version as it would have made it much easier to fix the issue.
