Hi,
for a few days now, my Photoshop 23 crashes in short intervalls and keeps showing the same error.
I only get the text in German so I tried translating it:
"A non-remediable error has occured when accessing the work volume/scratch disks. This is usually caused by a damaged harddrive format or a hardware issue like a damaged harddrive or a defective cable. Photoshop will be closed now."
Also, while I work the brush panel doesn't show up, however the other panels work fine. I tried to reset my preferences and I also deleted some brushes from the panel. My scratch disk has about 500 GB of free space on it so that clearly is not the problem, right? I also don't think I have other technical issues as InDesign works fine and the harddrive itself shows no damage when I examined it.
I use Windows 11 and the newest version of Photoshop. I downloaded new brushes for Photoshop last Friday, could they be the problem?
Thanks for your help!
Translated Error: An unrecoverable error is accessing the scratch disk occurred. This is usually caused by a damaged Disk format or in hardware problem like in faulty Hard drive or caused in broken cable. Photoshop will now end.
