I am trying to create a HDR from 3 photos in LrC. Here are the steps I'm doing:
1. Select 3 Nikon Raw .nef photos in LrC and choose 'Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop'.
2. Once the photos have been loaded into viewer/preview, clicked 'Mode'.
3. Changed to 32 Bit, clicked 'Remove ghosts' and then clicked 'Tone in ACR'.
4. Clicked 'Auto' to apply suggested changes.
5. Clicked 'Convert & Save' to tell Photoshop where to save the image.
6. Clicked the drop down box to choose DNG option... This is causing Photoshop to CRASH everytime.
I've already tried updating my graphics card drivers. Same result.
I've already deselected my graphics card from within preferences. Same result.
I've already deleted my Photoshop preferences folder. Same result.
I've already deleted the Photosohp font cache folder. Same result.

Ended up calling Adobe Support.
Turns out, this is a known issue with the latest version of Adobe Camera Raw.
Will hopefully be fixed in the next version......

I import photos with HDR on from LrC to Photoshop and change the mode from 32 bits to 16 bits and it keeps crashing. Never had this issue before.
