Photoshop crashing

Ok, I´ll try that, thank You very much.

But - never had problems before?
Additional: I just checked my workstation (which doesn´t crash so far, also installed 24.6.0 the day before yesterday) - this one ALSO has an Intel UHD Graphics 630 and an NVidia (GeForce GTX 1650) - PS also uses the NVidia on this one.
But - no crashes.

Maybe because the GPU isn´t fully compatible anymore on the Laptop, but fully compatible on the workstation?
I don´t hope so, it´s a Lenovo P50 with 4K and 100% sRGB.. 8-(

I´ll try to deactivate the dedicated GPU on the laptop and hope for the best - I will report here. 🙂

P.S. Can I just deactivate the dedicated GPU in the device manager of Windows?

Yes, I know it will probably use the Nvidia up front - the problem is that they conflict behind the scenes.

well, usually one has the possibility to send the crash report via a dialogue - since the update yesterday PS crashes and is just - gone - no dialogue, nothing more. I erally would have liked to send a crash report, at least after the 20th time...  😉
Where can I find the crash logs to see if there exist any from these new kind of crashes?

And - D Fosse, thank You for Your advice - as far as I could see, PS already uses only my NVidia GPU - not both (while Camera Raw sadly uses the dedicated GPU, I wasn´t able to change that by now).
The problem with crashing PS is new and came with the update to 24.6.0.

Integrated Intel GPUs are generally not capable of running the advanced functions in Photoshop nowadays (even if the crash itself might happen at trivial commands) You need something more powerful, like a Nvidia RTX 30- or 40-series.

In addition, dual GPUs tend to conflict, even with a good dedicated GPU. You may very likely need to completely disable the integrated Intel GPU in the operating system.

Same problem here, I installed 24.6.0 yesterday and it keeps crashing, often while saving and the saved file can´t be read anymore because of error of the eof.
It is horrible, because I am all the time saving under new names now and every now and then I lose the progress on the latest file because of that failed saving. If I don´t safe, it will crash also.

My files aren´t even anywhere near 2 GB, but it happens with more layers.
