Photoshop critical bug after Windows 11 22H2 update

I use Adobe Photoshop daily.

Yesterday everything worked fine.

Today I updated Windows 11 to v22H2 and after that Photoshop became unusable.

I restarted the laptop. I  updated all the drivers, I restarted again... Photoshop still ain't working.

See the images I send to understand the bug.

Repro steps is just start the Photoshop.

Anybody knows how to fix this?

AMD Radeon RX 6700S 8GB GDDR6 is the graphics.

Ok, looks like I didn't do 1 more restart because not everything got updated at first.

After updating everything via Armoury-Crate (all the drivers), and then restarting, the updating of BIOS started. After all that got finised, the Photoshop was back - working as expected.

Thanks for everyone who responded.

Hopefully this thread can help someone in the future.

Ah, yes, that extra restart one sometimes forgets, when we want to play/work with Photoshop directly after an update!

Do you have nVidia graphics card installed on your machine? Many users have reported problem after installing latest Windows update. I have postponed update for now, no problem on my side. Try to search and get more info about fix either from Microsoft or nVidia.

Hi, I would also check for updated GPU drivers, see also  this help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

Hi

That looks like a GPU related issue, try enabling this option in preferences and restarting Photoshop to see if it helps

It may also help if you could post your Photoshop system info, in Photoshop go to Help > System Info, hit the copy button and paste the entire thing into this thread.

@Ged_Traynor's right - that is definitely GPU related. What do you have for graphic card(s)?

You can always go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info then copy/paste the results here.

It can help us determine next course of action as needed.
