Photoshop Crop Tool Classic Mode Has Changed
Something has changed in the way the crop tool works in Photoshop CC. I've installed the latest version (2019, release 20.0.0) on a Mac running running 10.13.6 High Sierra.
When I have "Use Classic Mode" checked and draw a crop box on an image, then try to move a single side to adjust the crop, that side plus the two sides that touch it all move together to preserve the aspect ration of crop box I originally drew. That's not how it used to work - all sides were independent.
If I uncheck Classic Mode, I can adjust any side without any other side moving. But the underlying original image shifts to keep the crop box centered, which I find very annoying and almost causing nausea to set in.
The W and H boxes are empty, and no aspect ration has been selected.
How do I get back to the way it used to work? I want the image to be stationary, and I want to be able to adjust the sides of a crop box independently.
