Photoshop CS2 and pre-made borders

I've just bought a copy of Photoshop CS2. Have downloaded a file of some premade borders.  How do I install them into the photoshop?

This might seem like a really basic question.  Have bought my first version of Photoshop CS2 but there are no borders for photos/pics in there.  I found a file of 50 premade borders, but dont know how to get them into the program.  Can anyone help please?

<I just bought a copy of Photoshop CS2>

I must be in a time warp.  What year is this?

Seriously, if you did actually buy CS2, you were swindled.  I hope you can get your money back.

CS2 is ancient software that is no longer sold, supported or even certified to run on current operating systems.  In fact, Adobe took CS2's activation servers  down several years ago.

Do they have an extension of .atn? If so, they are Actions. If you succeed in activating a legal copy of Photoshop (any version), you would put them in your Actions folder.

Please read this blog from ProDesign Tools about counterfeit software. You may have been swindled.

Hi scotsman1969-

Please double-check and confirm that it's Photoshop CS2. I ask because CS2 was released in 2005 and replaced by CS3 in 2007.

Good day!

What is the file format?

I suspect those frames may be for Photoshop Elements.

Out of curiosity: From whom did you buy a license for Photoshop CS2 and why?

Photoshop CS2 Is obviously outdated, so if you decide to stick with obsolete software you should make sure you are able to roll back any and all future software and hardware updates in case they »break« the set-up.
