Photoshop CS4 and HiDef Monitor

My old system crashed and I had to replace it, including a hi-res monitor (3840 x 2160), and I reinstalled the CS4 package I had, but the tools and main menu bar in Photoshop (only part of suite I have used so far) are extremely tiny. Changing Windows display scale to 250% helped with drop down menus, but no change to other elements of working screen. Any suggestions?

Have you actually activated CS4 or are you still running it in trial mode?

AFAIK, CS4 can no longer be activated so you won't be able to use it beyond the 30 day trial limit.

Correct. CS4 can no longer be activated - so the whole question is effectively moot.

In any case, support for high resolution monitors came in CC 2014. Any earlier version doesn't support it.
