Hi all!

Does anyone find a solution for the bug (for me it is) in Photoshop CS4 & CS5 - in Fullscreen mode the taskbar is no visible (MS Windows)?

In case someone from Adobe read this - COM'ON PEOPLE!!! IS NOT SO HARD TO FIX THIS!!! ADD A SIMPLE CHECK BOX IN OPTIONS, FOR USERS THAT NEEEEEED THEIR TASKBAR IN FULLSCREEN! how many complains do you need to fix this!?? Think again... a lot of people are stuck to CS3 just for this problem!

Best Regards,

Angry CS3 user, dreaming for CS4 & CS5 Photoshop

PS: @ admins -> please, move this to Photoshop -> Windows! It'll be more correct!

Hello everyone, I got the same problem a few days ago & successfully fixed it up. I have several solutions for that, Simply double tap the menu bar & watch the magic

Am i missing something here? I virtually always work in full screen mode and i have the taskbar at the bottom with all the other open program tabs there.

If you use CS4 or CS5 it's not possible to view your taskbar always on top... Are you sure? If you use CS3 then it's ok...

CS3: Taskbar always visible (currently not installed any loner but i clearly remember)

    CS4: Taskbar always visible

    CS5: Taskbar always visible

OS: Windows XP and Windows 7

Are you sure you don't have your taskbar set to autohide or something like that?

i concur with the original post. having access to glancible information while in fullscreen mode is beneficial, and its unfortunate that this is no longer possible.

You must be the only person wanting this. It is not a bug. It is just the way it is. Just hit the F key.

    Somebody?

It's really necessary to see the taskbar in fullscreen mode!

Would you care to say why it's so important?

You can always toggle it into sight by pressing the F key.

Would you care to say why it's so important?

Because the people who work with photoshop, usually use many programs at the same time (Photoshop, Illustrator, Mail client, Skype, Winamp, etc.)

So if you cant see the taskbar, you CAN'T:

    - navigate quickly between the applications

    - see if you have new mails, chats, phonecalls

    - see what time it is

    - see what language is my KBD (I'm from Bulgaria so I use both English and Bulgarian)

    - etc

(For example: if I copy an object form Illustrator and I want to paste it in Ps, I can't see the taskbar -> so I have to switch to Ps by pressing "Alt+Tab". But if I have 15 open applications, to get to the Ps it'll cost me in the worst scenarios 15 hits of "Alt+Tab" )

If the taskbar WAS NOT so important, all applications would hide it , (... and they don't)

You can always toggle it into sight by pressing the F key

Yes I can, but that means that I have to press F key 3 times, just to see the taskbar!@?#!? (three times, because there are three screen modes)

This is the same thing if you look at your watch to see what time it is - to pres a button three times before the actual time appears... Not very useful
