I had Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended on a laptop which unfortunately died last year.  I replaced the laptop, and I am now having issues activating the Photoshop CS5 Extended program on my new laptop.  The error message is 'the serial number has already been activated on 2 computers and to continue . . . must correct by deactivating one of the other activated copies.'  ' I'm not able to deactivate the copy that was on the dead laptop.  Talked with an Adobe representative yesterday who said they discontinued support for this product and suggested I come to the Adobe Community to ask for help.  I have Windows I0 version 22H2 x64-based system. I appreciate any help you can provide so I can use the program on my new laptop.  Thank you.

@Karen3792199797nj if you have used up your 2 activations and can't deactivate it from a previous system, you're out of luck, Adobe have stopped resetting activation counts.

Not sure why Adobe support sent you here, as they should be fully aware about Adobe's stance on resetting activation counts.

I'm afraid it's time to say goodbye to CS5, there's nobody here on this forum that can help you with your situation.
