Photoshop CS6 serial number issue

I bought Photoshop CS6 for Mac in 2012, I installed it in my iMac, it runs fine. Recently I bought a new MBP, I tried to install it on the MBP. After running the install program, it prompts for the serial number with 6 empty boxes, i.e. the serial number is in 6 characters. However, the serial number that printed on my box is in the format of xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx. As a result, there is no way for me to install PS CS6.

Please help me out!

Hi did you tried to install pc cs6 and put the serial

That serial must have worked for you back in 2012 you have been using the install it activated on you machine.

If you have install a trial of CC on you machine you may have a provle. CC broke my Windows Perpetual CS6 install. I had insall CS6 on top of the broken version to fix it which back leveled it to Version 13.0 which was able to be updated to version 13.1.2 the Creative cloud version of CS6. The Perpetual CS6 Mac version should update to version 13.0.6 the Windows CS6 perpetual version is version 13.0.1.3. Ther a three versions of CS6....
