Photoshop CS6

I just bought a new MacBook Pro and I want to install PS CS6 on it.  I have the discs, but no disc reader, so I'm trying to download it from the internet.  the link on the download page isn't working.  I've been in a chat box with adobe for so long I'm about to lose my mind.  the guy sent me a photoshop elements 13 link, then a creative cloud link.  he's hardly communicating with me.  it's a bloody nightmare.  any tips, besides buying the cloud version?

Did you try downloading from this page? Download Adobe Creative Suite 6 applications

If your copy of CS6 is part of a suite (like Design Standard or Master Collection etc.), I think you will have to download the entire suite. If you download the wrong version, your serial number will probably not be accepted.

hi per.  it's all set.  I bought a standalone version of PS CS6 on sale right before they launched CC.  it's old yes, but it works just fine for my purposes.  anyway, the link on the page wouldn't work for some reason.  the adobe rep did something I can't explain and then it downloaded just fine.  so I'm all set.

I somehow missed the Resolved part.

it was downloaded from the adobe site with the help of the adobe rep.  would it really not be the original version?  I guess I could get a disk reader and do it that way if you think I've been scammed.

Oops, sorry, brain short-circuit. I thought you meant a new purchase, although I have no idea why I thought that since there's nothing in your post to indicate that.

    My bad, apologies...

Probably not in the way you think. CS6 hasn't been legitimately sold for years, and all you get now are cracked and pirated versions. Good luck.
