Photoshop- disable "brush remembers tool." Example: Working with the brush tool, stamp, and eraser. When switching from eraser to brush tool and selecting a new brush from the drop-down menu, I'm wondering why the brush tool is not working, now spending time checking if selections, locks, etc., are blocking progress- finally realizing it gave me the previous brush used for eraser.  It's the same thing with stamps. It's a pain to go another step to get a brush to work with the current tool. How can I relate this to you? How can I select a brush from the drop-down menu without changing to a brush with the previous tool? Or turn off the memory the brush style and size retains?

And why is this line below"* Topics help users find your post. Please select one or more topics." when I don't see a list of topics?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
