Photoshop!!!! Does it cheat on photoshop action?

Here is my contribution to the conversation. As Stephen noted above, Actions are just tools. No two people will create the same art, in the same way/ Actions are a good way to work smarter and faster doing things that are repetitive. Would I use actions to create art? Probably not. Because usually you can tell when art or work on a photo has been done automatically. But actions do have some advantages in doing multiple things much faster than if you had to perform those same functions one at a time.

If you are the only person to have access to particular tools, then they give you an advantage.  However, everyone has access to Photoshop and it's functions.  The harder you work, the better you'll be able to use thos tools.  That's not cheating.  It's a reward for the work you put into learning how to use it.

Plus, Photoshop only creates what you make it create.  The images are from your imagination, and you use Photoshop to make images of what you see in your head.  So it is your art, and not Photoshop's.

Your question requires context - such as is this for an exam or contest where there may be specific rules as to what is acceptable.

I'm not sure what you mean by cheating on Photoshop actions. Do you think they are too easy or too hard to use? Photoshop actions are useful for applying the same edits to multiple images, but they are not a substitute for artistic skills. You can still create your own original paintings with Photoshop, but actions can help you save time and achieve certain effects.
