Photoshop doesnt open files correctly

Lately, I've been having a problem opening files in Photoshop. Most of the time I solve it by restarting it, but many times I have to restart the computer. When I open the files they look like this: (see attached)
Does anyone know what is going on?

Hi @Juan33662296wfsd Go to Photoshop Preferences/Technology Preview and check “Disable Native Canvas”. Quit and relaunch PS.

If that does not resolve - where are these files saved?
