I recently updated my Photoshop version 2024 ( 25.3.1 ) I installed the new version when I launched Photoshop and I noted an error report. How to fix this issue! I'm really disappointed about that issue. I installed 26 times photoshop but it always photoshop crashed. I think I have to cancel my adobe membership

That's a good list! You said you installed PS 26 times. Have you done the other six steps on this page, plus the other troubleshooting tips? Please report back on each one in turn and tell us what happened.

Okay, but you didn't mention earlier that you had done that, so I didn't know.

  • Did you restart your computer?
  • What method did you use to reset preferences? (This is not the same as installing 26 times)
  • When you go to Help > GPU Compatibility, show a screenshot of the dialog you get
  • What is your exact version of Photoshop?
  • What is your exact version of Windows?

In a first step you should try to reset the preferences of Photoshop using the steps described here:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#reset-preferences

Please backup your settings before resetting the preferences. You can check:

https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html#backup-photoshop-preferences

If this doesn't help please check if your is system up-to-date. Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.

Do you get an error message? I don't mean the message that you posted. Is there another message?

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the Photoshop menu item Help > System Info. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

Another try is to do a complete clean reinstallation.

Please follow the steps below:

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 24H2 -- LR-Classic 14 - Photoshop 26 - Nik Collection 7 - PureRAW 4 - Topaz PhotoAI 3

Hi!

Did you check to see if your Graphics Processor Card is compatible with the new version of Photoshop that you installed? To test it, go to Preferences>Performance and uncheck Use Graphics Processor card. Click ok and then restart Photoshop. If it runs fine without the GP card, then you may have an old driver or an incompatible card. Here is a help doc that will give you information: https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html

Let us know if that helps, or if the problem still persists?
