Photoshop.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Dear all,

I have installed (and keep up-tp-date) Photoshop 2024 through an active CreativeCloud (5.5.0617) account, on a Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB machine (32 GB RAM, intel core i7-8700 CPU @ 3.2 GHz 3.19 GHz, laboratory computer - meaning that it is not operated by a few lab members).

Recently, Photoshop fails to initiate (clicking either though the run menu, or through the CreativeCloud application has no difference), while two error messages appear. In the first it is stated "The procedure entry point SetThreadDescription could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2024\Photoshop.exe" (Screenshot_1.png), while in the second "The procedure entry point CreateDispatcherQueueComtroller could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2024\WinRTSupport.dll" (Screenshot_2.png).

I have tried uninstalling everything, through the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool tool (as instructed via this forum) and then reinstalling CreativeCloud and Photoshop, yet to no avail...

Any ideas to try out would be "life-saving" after months of despair...

Thanks in advance!

Is your Creative Cloud Desktop Application up to date? If not, try updating it.
