I occasionally get this error in files I save as PDF.

I am using the latest version of Photoshop 2024. I tried opening it in older versions but it didn't work.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hi @user8136299, are you sure you mean PDF (Portable Document Format) files or did you mean to write PSD (Photoshop) files? If you are talking about PDF files, it's possible that they weren't saved with an application that Photoshop can open. Can you open them in Acrobat successfully?
