I'm having a problem opening existing PS files on PS 2021. When I try to open them PS opens and has the file title showning on the tab and the file image displayed in the Navigator window. But the file does not display on the work area/artboard. I'm on Big Sur, could this be the problem.

Restart your Mac, if that doesn't work, then Rest PS preferences settings

It might be worth looking at the graphics card settings. In preferences > Performance > Graphics Processor Settings UNTICK the 'Use Graphics Processor' box.

I'm also having the same problem. Resetting preferences hasn't worked for me.

I just found that it is something to do the standard screen mode, because if I go to full screen mode then the image displays perfectly. I'm not mirroring or using a second monitor. But I'm now wondering if it has anyting to do with Sidecar, which I was looking into as I was interested in using it but have so far not actually used.

Thanks. I will try that to see if that fixes it. But as I just found out, there is no problem with the full screen mode, just the standard screen mode, which I prefer to use.
