Photoshop for CATALINA: which is the latest compatible versions?

Hello,

I am actually working on an iMac retina 5K, 27", Late 2014 with 32GB Ram, and I cannot upgrade to a new operating system, as after expericencing an upgrade I realize that I can only work with Catalina 10.15.7 that guaranteed me stability, perfect workflow and so on.

I have a full annual subscription to Adobe CC (all softwares) since 2016 and actualy I am working with Illustrator and Photoshop, only as many of their products are now not more sutibale in Catalina ambient, as for example Adobe Premiere that I cannot dowload in any previous version. (not good they act like that, but OK).

I saw that the latest Photoshop available for Catalina is the actual verison I am running, I mean 22.2, that is horrible and full of bugs.

Where are the 23.1 and/or the latest compatible?

In my upgrade panel I can only see the 25.11 where are all the others version?

Thnaks a lot for your support.

The most recent compatible Photoshop version for macOS Catalina 10.15 is Photoshop 2022 (ps ver 23.5.5)

Unfortunately, Adobe only offers the current version of Photoshop and one version back, those being Photoshop 2024 and 2023.

The only reason Photoshop 2021 (ps ver 22.2) is offered is it's the last version that has fully functional 3D, which Adobe

has just about removed from current Photoshop versions.

You can try Adobe support and see if they will give you a link to Photoshop 2022, but they may not be permitted to.

Again thnaks, AI 23 work perfectly in my Mac, at the moment I can't judge InDesign as I did not use it.

What I miss is Premiere, non of the verison seems compatible with Catalina now, and I cannot dowload any previous version.

Update: Adobe provide me the 23.3.2 version tht I installed and seem work well.

There's just a thing that I don't understand.

When I trasfer the pictures from my iPhone in HEIC, and I would like to open with Photoshop, Camera Raw open a window... I need to chose if I wan to open a copy or as a object.

It is annoying becaseu it's time consumpting.

I rememebr in somew previous versione (not the PS20121, thta have the same problem) there was not any interference form Camera Raw the file HEIC openend directly

Any idea about it?

ps: apologize for my bad English.

Thank you so much, it works.

I saw it, but I thougt it disable the handling of the file (I mean that I could not open anymore the HEIC files) this i why I was worried to disable it.

Again thnaks for the exptensive support to all the members.
