Photoshop freezes every few minutes using brushes with Microsoft Pen 2 on multiple

I'm having the same issue. While painting in Photoshop it will just randomly freeze for minutes at a time. Very annoying. I've been looking for alternative software with better performance, but I'd hate to have to switch.

Actually, I figured that the issue was because I was using the touch screen to pinch and rotate and not the pen. I learned this after trying to use the mouse instead of the pen but kept using the touchscreen and then noticed the real issue.

Curious if you have tried WinTab to see if this solves this issue?

Does it work correctly? 

If that doesn't solve it, you can quit Photoshop and put the Settings folder back. 

It may help if we could see your Photoshop System Info. Launch Photoshop, and select Help >System Info...and copy/paste the text in a reply.
