Re: Photoshop freezing while using tools

This happens to me too, all the time, and the only way to close it is with "force quit". I have the latest MAC OS and the latest photoshop versio, and this is has been happening since they released fist version with AI. It's REALLY annoying and it's a waste of my time as I keep losing the changes I have made on my work.

Fix this, ADOBE!!!

    Hey, @soulci. Welcome to the Photoshop Community. I've moved your comment from the old thread to a separate post. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Photoshop Help > System info > Copy & paste into a text document > upload & attach here.

     

    Does the problem exist if you use Photoshop v25.9.1? Are you working with multiple displays? 

    Try these steps: 

    1 - Go to Photoshop > Settings (CMD + K) > Performance > Advanced Settings > Disable 'GPU Compositing' & restart Photoshop & check if it helps.

    2 - If you're using any plugins, press & hold the Shift key while launching Photoshop to skip loading plugins & check if that helps.
