Photoshop gif issues

I want to make a gif from psd layers. I have loaded files as stack, selected 'make frame animation' in the timeline panel, selected all my layers, but the dropdown on the roight is no longer the same and does not have 'make frames from layers'. I have tried in ps 25 an beta? Any ideas as to why?

You need to create the first frame before that option becomes available.   It will create a frame for every layer regardless including the background, so you generally need to delete the frame, then select all frames (Select first and Shift select the last) and turn on the background layer.  I find I need to turn it on, then off, then back on again to stick.

Thanks for the repsonse Trevor. Strange thing is that I had done all of that. I reinstalled photoshop and it came right.
