Whenever I attempt to use a Gradient Overlay on my Background the colors I am applying to the Gradient do not match the colors being presented on my Background layer. I should mention I am designing Text with its own Gradient Overlay, I believe Photoshop is confusing my texts gradient overlay with the background gradient overlay, how would I go about fixing this issue? Its been bugging me all day and I cant move past it, I know it has to be a simple fix that im just not seeing!
I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Photoshop forum so that proper help can be offered.
