Hi

Im creating something with different image layers and I drew a circle. I want the circle to have a fill of a gradient but when I try give it a gradient it says the layer isn't directly editable. What should I do?

That’s apparantly a Shape Layer so you can

• either drag a Gradient onto it from the Gradient Panel

• or apply a Layer Style (Layer > Layer Style > Gradient Overlay).

Hi

Use the Layer Style to add your Gradient, double click on the Shape Layer to bring up the Layer Style dialog and select Gradient Overlay, you can not add a Gradient to a Shape Layer directly in Photoshop
